Applications
Real parts, made with APD
Fixtures that carry their own instructions, parts that show when they are worn, full-color models and packaging prototypes. Each example below was printed with APD and links to the capability it relies on.
Jigs, fixtures and tooling
Stiff, dimensionally stable fixtures printed in fiber-filled Rizium, with instructions and QR codes embedded where operators need them.

Quality control and traceability
Part numbers, QR codes, instructions and wear limits are embedded a few voxels below the surface during the build, so they last as long as the part.

Medical and pre-clinical models
Full-color anatomical models for planning, teaching and patient communication. Supports print in the same material and release cleanly, so delicate anatomy survives post-processing.

Models shown for illustration. Medical use depends on the application and its regulatory path.
Packaging and product design
Shelf-ready looking prototypes with labels, fine print and gradients printed in, for design reviews, photography and market testing before tooling.

Replicas of existing products were printed to demonstrate color accuracy. No affiliation with the brands is implied.
Design validation
Show analysis results on the physical part, compare versions side by side, and combine materials and finishes in one print.

Consumer products and display models
Collectibles, figures, food models and displays printed in full color in one build, with no painting.
