About
The company behind APD
Palitra turns new product ideas into parts that conventional 3D printing can't make. We develop applications with partners using APD, then license the process to take them to production.
What we do
Three ways to work with Palitra
- Licensing and co-development. Feasibility studies, joint development and licenses to the APD process for defined fields of use.
- R&D services. Printing and testing APD parts for partners evaluating the process.
- Materials. Rizium composites and functional inks, developed in house.
History
From patent to production use
- 2010
Priority date of the APD patent family: alternating extruded polymer layers with jetted ink layers.
- 2016
The RIZE One system, built on APD, ships to industrial users. APD has been in industrial use since.
- 2019
XRIZE adds full-color APD printing.
- 2022
Palitra acquires substantially all RIZE assets, including all intellectual property.
- Today
Palitra develops applications with partners using APD, licenses the process, and supplies Rizium materials.
